Over the past few weeks since the start of the lock down, I’ve continued to buy music, mainly through my local record store, Plaid Room Records, in Loveland, Ohio, but also via BandCamp and sometimes direct from the artist.

Here’s what I’ve bought this week:

Colonel Les Claypool‘s Fearless Flying Frog BrigadeLive at the Great American Music Hall

I have loved the Claypool Lennon Delirium releases over the past few years, so have been wanting to buy this since it came out on Record Store Day last year.

Uncle Tupelo – Anodyne

This band spawned Wilco and Son Volt – Need I say more?

I came across this collaboration a couple of weeks ago, as I follow one of the contributors, Lukas Drinkwater, on twitter. Initially YouTube videos put together during this lock down period, these excellent Nick Drake covers have just been released for streaming and download.

After listening to the two Slow Jane tracks I thought I’d take a listen to Katherine Priddy’s solo work, immediately placed an order via her Facebook page and this arrived in my mail box in a matter of days. Splendid stuff it is too!
