Right next to the Highwaymen album on my record shelves is The Highwomen album.
Released in 2019, The Highwaywomen comprised of Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires (Have I ever told you I’ve seen her live?)
The title track, The Highwomen, was written by Brandi Carlile, Amanda Shires and Jimmy Webb.
It was produced by Dave Cobb in the legendary RCA Studio A, which apparently he now owns.
I did a tour of RCA Studio A some years ago – well worth a visit.
