I’ve just read that Shore by Fleet Foxes was released this week five years ago.
I’ve been a Fleet Foxes fan since their first album and have seen them a couple of times at Glastonbury Festival, in 2009 and 2011 and once in Cincinnati, at the Taft Theatre on July 20, 2018.
I’d say Shore was my most played album during the Covid lockdown period. In my mind it was the perfect record for listening too when I wanted to forget about all the pandemic related issues.
Listening to it now, it brings back memories of those times, but also happy ones spent listening to this.
