  • Is there anybody out there?

So nearly nine months after moving into our new (to us) house in South Carolina, I’ve finally unpacked all my vinyl and CDs. I say all, I still have some boxes in storage at Cincinnati.

This is music I’ve acquired from both sides of the pond from the early 1970s to now.

The bulk of it is from my time in England, some from when I lived in Columbus, Georgia, a fair amount from six years spent in Cincinnati, some more England, when we went back for a couple of years and then a few from our travels round the States last year.

I’m going to use this blog to post about my music collection, both physical and downloads. I do stream to check stuff out, but try to buy when I can and when funds allow!

I’ve also been and continue to go to quite a few gigs, so I’ll be posting about those too.

I love record stores, so I’m sure I’ll be calling those out I get into this.

So that’s the introduction done with, I’ll just finish off with a mention of what I’m currently listening to:

On the turntable tonight, I have The Cosmic Selector, Vol. One, the latest album by my current favorite band, Lord Huron.

I’ll be posting more about Lord Huron further on down the line, but for now I’m going to sign off with this:

May You Live Until You Die
